Igår eftermiddag satt damerna och jag och skrev på tesalongscafeet. Två kvinnor kom in och började titta på koppar, tekannor, böcker och annat som finns i butiken. En var särskilt intresserad av en bok som stod bakom mig. Just då tog den andra ner en bricka och frågade mig om jag visste vad den kostade. Jag förklarade att jag inte hade någon aning, och plötsligt började kinesdetektiverna skälla intensivt. Pinsamt tyckte jag, och försökte tysta dem.
Så småningom gick kvinnorna, och några minuter senare upptäckte jag att min mobil som låg på bordet var borta.
Tricket är så gammalt att jag inte fattar att jag inte fattade vad de höll på med. Och varför tog jag inte detektiverna på allvar när de (kanske) försökte meddela att något var fel?
(Och så kan jag berätta att det nuförtiden går fantastiskt smidigt att hantera stulna telefoner: ett samtal för att spärra SIM-kortet. Ett besök i butiken - ny telefon, nytt SIM-kort med samma nummer som det gamla. Koppla upp den nya telefonen mot datorn, och vips är det som om stölden aldrig hade skett.)
(Och så är jag faktiskt mycket glad över att det var mobilen och inte datorn eller plånboken som försvann...)
Trist att det hände ,men härligt att tjejerna försökte uppmärksamma dig på tjuvarna.Dom förtjänar en riktigt god belöning för detta. Man lär sig hela tiden att lyssna mer på sin hund.

Inte alltid fel att de skäller. (Tänker på min Mimi och hur hon gjorde då för länge sedan: brydde sig sällan om folk även om hon gärna hälsade på den som ville. Men så ibland morrade hon, oftast lite dovt och lågt bredvid mig. Jag fick lära mig att då var det bra att se sig om...)
Om de skäller utan anledning så finns det en anledning!
